These terms apply to your use of IndieLeader. By creating an account you agree to them, and to the rules, which are part of these terms. Questions? Email info@nexbase.nl.
The service
IndieLeader is a public leaderboard that ranks developers and repositories by commit activity, based on data from the GitHub API. Commit counts refresh periodically and may lag behind reality; we don't guarantee accuracy or availability.
Your account
- You sign in with your own GitHub account and may create only one account per person.
- You're responsible for the repositories you link and for keeping your account within the rules.
- You can delete your account at any time via your profile page.
Free spots & payment
- The first 25 accounts get full access for free. After that, full access (linking repositories and viewing detail pages) requires a one-time payment of €10, processed by Stripe.
- This is a one-time unlock, not a subscription. It is tied to your account and not transferable.
- Right of withdrawal: because your account is unlocked immediately after payment, you expressly request immediate performance when you pay and thereby waive your 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law. You confirm this waiver before checkout.
- Refunds are not provided, except where required by law. No refund is given when an account is removed for violating the rules.
Public content
The leaderboard is public: your name, GitHub username, avatar, linked repository names, commit counts and achievements are visible to anyone. See the privacy policy for details on how data is handled.
Fair use & enforcement
We may — at our sole discretion and without prior notice — remove repositories, correct commit counts, or suspend or delete accounts that violate the rules, manipulate the leaderboard, or abuse the service.
Liability
IndieLeader is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service.
Changes
We may change these terms or the service itself. The "last updated" date at the top tells you when. If you keep using IndieLeader after a change, you accept the updated terms. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
